Everything was dark after the attack.
Lives went dark of unhappiness.
Faces went dark of horror.
Cities went dark of death.
Dark, everything was dark...
Everything was broken in the attack.
Hearts were broken.
Families were broken.
Dreams were broken.
Broken, everything was broken...
Everything changes after an attack.
Life can change.
Family can change.
The country can change.
Change, everything can change.
Everything in your life can be broken, dark or changed.
But don’t be afraid, you can begin again.

Beautiful poem!
May the Lord comfort the hearts of all those who, in one way or another, suffer the consequences of such devastating attack.
That's a really nice poem! Nice to read some poetry coming from our mates, isn't it? Congratulations, Ruth ^^!
Btw, they've been showing insteresting documentaries on TV lately...
What a moving poem , Little Ruth! I really liked it a lot.And you are right, everybody may start again, in any time, in any country...Here, in Argentina, we have begun to build our projects since the starting point of our historical way and despite it is absolutely difficult, we believe that it is possible to achieve our aims ...At least we know how to dream and we have also learnt how to wait for better days...here, in Argentina.

Ruth, I liked your poem a lot! I admire those who can write poetry because for me is a kind of work very difficult to manage. I still remember that terrific day, but you are right, although difficult sometimes, when we live a difficult situation we must be strog and start again.VERONICA.
Very nice poem ruth!!
However hard a change in life is, it is possible to start again. But... is it possible that a change could cause the death of nearly 3.000 people?!!
I like your poem Ruth! I still remember that September, 11th. It's incredible how life can change in a matter of seconds but I think that after a difficult situation we must follow our dreams and try to achieve our aims.
Change is not always bad.
Ruth! Ive just discovered a grammatical mistake in my opinion above,I wrote DESPITE instead of writing EVEN THOUGH or ALTHOUGH...but I know that you understood my concepts.
Congratulations! Id would like to read another poem of yours!
Susan
Hi, Ruth. I really love your poem. It is very sad but it also gives us hope. We as human beings have always the capacity to stand up after a tragedy. It is almost as if this kind of events give us more strenght and determination to go on living.
Pao.
