Do technologies have ideology?

Everybody felt moved to debate after Nestor's post on Facebook (here). I didn't want to be less -you know-, and, even though I opted not to intervene in the discussion, I took some time to write a post on what I consider my personal conclusions on the topic. The title of this post is The ideology of Technologies, and you can have a look at it in If I may say so... (here)

I agree with the idea that technology(internet, facebook)can not be blamed for the content given because we as users have lot to do with this content.I think that ideology is present under any invention as regards technology nowadays. It is difficult to me to think in something that has not have an ideologic intention hidden. However, the important fact is to give technology the most serious and and better use we can,of course according to our necessities...Flavia

I agree with you Flavia. We have to use technology according to our necessities. Definitely, I think that technology shows some kind of ideology.
