Wrong (by Rojas, Pachame and Mallemaci)

Wrong
(Review by Carolina Rojas, Daniela Pachame and Marisol Mallemaci)
“Wrong” appears in Depeche Mode’s new album which is “Sounds of the Universe”. The electro pop band continues with their characteristic dark style, writing about love, lust and death.
Depeche Mode’s lyrics express a feeling of negation and this English group uses negative words and phrases such as: “wrong”, “born in the wrong place” and “I was born in the wrong side”. Throughout the song, the word “Wrong” is repeated with emphasis in order to demonstrate the singer’s feeling about living a hated life.
Apart from the fact that we consider “wrong” a negative song, we would recommend this track to people who like Depeche Mode’s characteristic style but we would not do so if the listener does not like Depeche Mode’s characteristic style.

Hi girls! I like this song very much and althought I'm not a big fan of Depeche mode I would really like to see them performing in Buenos Aires. I think they are coming in November. I don't knoW if you have seen the video of this song, it's really good. Bye!

Hi people. I've always heard Depeche Mode since it's a fantastic band. This English band positioned at the top of the rank for years with songs like 'Enjoy the silence', 'Everything counts in large amounts', 'Behind the Wheel' or 'Route 66'. They No doubt are a great band.

Personal Fest? Really? Well, that's good news then. It was too expensive a ticket for one band only. And anyway, DM are not in their best shape, I'm afraid.
Notice that all the songs you mentioned are way old classics.

Yes I coincide. What's more,in my personal case, although I recognize that foreign bands are very good, I wouldn't spend my money to watch them on a recital since that money then travels abroad. By contrast, if I hear of an interesting national singer giving a recital, I wouldn't hesitate in spending my money for watching him/her singing, since that money remains in the country. Bye bye

I'm very sad because I couldn't get a ticket for the concert! I didn't know that they were performing in Personal Fest. I thought it was their own show. Besides, I agree with Blas, the ticket was quite expensive.
I'm not a big fan, but I love the kind of music they do. "Precious" and "Personal Jesus" are my favourite songs, and "Enjoy the silence" really makes my cry of emotion.
Good work girls!

See you all!

I like DM very much, but I was a bit dissapointed with this new album. I listened to it all and it is very depressing. All the songs are slow, heavy and difficult to the ear. Notice that I love electronic music in all its varieties but this album is not one of their best.
I prefer and hope to see Pet Shop Boys. I totally recommend thier last album: YES!
